shiny_glor_chan ’s Jason's Death Day Challenge
Jason felt his spine crack, his head jerking back as the crowbar bit into his ribs. The Joker’s laugher crackled though the air as blood trickled over his skin, hot and bitter under his suit. He wanted to scream, to cry for help but the sound caught in his throat. Who was there to cry too?
Hands gripped him, holding him down and Jason flailed against them. If he could just get away...
“Jay? Jason, wake up!”
Jay could hear the voices but couldn’t make out the words. The blood was slippery on his face and hands, his skin slick as he tried to pull away but the hands held him tight. He lashed, feeling the satisfying smack as his fists connected with flesh.
Someone swore and his arms were forced up behind his back in a lock he knew he couldn’t break.
“Calm down Jay! We’re got you, you’re safe.”
Dick? Why was Dick there? He wanted to yell, to warn Dick to run. The Joker would kill them both and Bruce wasn’t going to be there to help them. Blood trickled down his face, dripping off his nose. Someone touched him, brushing it away.
“Jay! Come back to us Jay.”
Jason’s eyes flew open, his skin soaked with sweat. Dick was stroking his face, his eyes bright with worry. “Jay?”
He nodded, fighting the burn in his shoulders.
Dick glanced over his shoulder. “S’ok Tim, let him down.”
Tim unfolded the arm-lock carefully. “Are you all right?” he asked, automatically rubbing Jason’s strained muscles.
Jay glanced over his shoulder, frowning as he realised the bruise forming on Tim’s face was probably from his fist. “Shit, sorry Babybird.”
Tim shrugged, leaning into Jason’s hand as Jay touched his cheek apologetically. “We all have nightmares.”
Dick’s hands ghosted over his back, pulling Jason into a hug. “He’s right Jay. We all get them from time to time.” He pressed a kiss to Jason’s sweat lank hair. “And you’re been through worse than the rest of us.”
Jason closed his eyes, enjoying the casual warmth of his brothers’ touch. “I’ve been having that one for years but it’s been a while since...”
“It’s not a surprise.” Tim said quietly, shimmied closer, his naked thigh brushing Jason’s leg, soft and smooth against his skin. “It’s coming up to the anniversary of your death.”
Jason nodded although he knew it wasn’t a question. Of course Tim knew. Tim, like Bruce, always knew these things, but unlike Bruce, Tim knew how to show he cared. “I should...” Jason pulled away, fragments of dream clung to him like blood in the Iranian sand and he wanted it off him. “I’m going to grab a shower.”
Dick jumped to his feet, impressively lithe as always and held out a hand to pull Jason up. “Come on then.” His smile implied there was no way Jay was going to get to have this shower alone.
Under the warm water Dick pressed hot, wet kisses over Jason’s throat, strong hands gripping his hips as Tim dropped to his knees, swallowing Jay in a single smooth motion. Jason let himself fall back into Dick’s embrace, trusting his weight to his elder brother, burying his fingers in Tim’s soft hair.
Tim took Jason deep, guided by the clenching rhythm of Jay’s hand in his hair and the roll of Dick’s thrusts as he rocked against Jay’s ass. He brushed his hands up Jason’s legs till he reached Dick’s, their fingers entwining over Jay’s skin.
Jay lost himself between his brothers, letting the nightmares disintegrate into the past as he came hard down Tim’s throat, falling limply into Dick’s arms.
“We’re got you Jay.” Dick whispered, kissing Jay soothingly as Tim cleaned them all up. “We’ll look after you.”
Pressed up between them, Tim’s small body curled against his chest as Dick’s long legs draped over his, Jason wondered if there was any point worrying about Death Day this year.
