Hey F-list.

I’m trapped at home by a fierce heat wave and feeling listless. I need your help to get me writing so I’m calling out for prompts.

Love this pairing!

Jack was covered in dust, his coat torn in a dozen places. His face was sticky with blood though the skin beneath it had healed. His boots trailed mud and filth as he limped though the cog door and into the hub.

But there stood Ianto, immaculate in his dove grey suit, a fresh coffee in one hand and a change of clothes in the other.

“You Ianto Jones,” Jack grinned, “are a sight for sore eyes!”

“I do my best sir.” Ianto replied, smiling coyly. “I take it your weevil hunt did not go well.”

Jack glanced down at his own dishevelled appearance. “Depends of your definition of well...”

“Successfully bagging a weevil without being mauled to death would be one definition.”

Jack grinned again, trying to be charming despite the fact he knew how much Ianto hated knowing he’d died while he was out. “Well...by that definition? No, not so much. I did find some very interesting dirt though.”

Ianto glanced at the mudded footprints that marred his otherwise pristine hub. “And will you be required assistance with that fascinating filth sir.”

The others wouldn’t be back tonight and the decontamination showers were easily big enough for two. Jack cocked his head at his lover. “Only if we can play naked hide and seek after.”

ADORABLE. I've never really read anything for them because the fandom properly scares me, but this was so fun to read. So good to actually get back to grips with the characters again!

So glad you like it. I’ve only every written scraps for Torchwood, the fandom is just way too big for me but I do really love the characters.
