munninHey F-list.
I’m trapped at home by a fierce heat wave and feeling listless. I need your help to get me writing so I’m calling out for prompts.
I’ve got a board of ideas but need your help. Pick a prompt and a fandom or pairing and I’ll do my best to write it for you. I’m open to everyone – Tribe, Speed, Bats X-fans and anyone else who might find this.
Please guys, help me get my head back in the game.

The Tribe Mega/Jack #14 command for itsjustc
Date: 2010-01-23 09:08 am (UTC)“Can you fix it?” Mega’s voice so close behind him was abrupt enough to make Jack jump.
“Yeah, yeah.” Jack replied, running his hand through his spiky hair, covering his distraction. “The problem’s not fixing it; it’s programming the system well enough that’ll keep working.” He gestured vaguely at the screen and its scrolling lines of text. “The program’s so complex that without regular maintenance, it’ll breakdown and fragment.”
Mega leant in, squinting at the text. “The system must be self-maintaining.”
Jack shrugged. “I don’t know how to make that happen.”
In one fluid strike, Mega dragged Jack out of the chair, pressing him against the wall, one hand tight around Jack’s throat. “That’s a command Jack.” Mega purred close to Jack’s ear, his voice dark and nasty. “And there are punishments for those who can’t obey commands.”
Jack shivered, half wondering what the punishment would be.

I think Mega should be Dom!Mega in most pairings except Ram/Mega (Sub!Mega) and my oddest pairing EVER! EVER! - I know! I'm weird! - Paul/Mega (persuaded!Mega)
Please, PLEASE, will you think about coming back to TAT and writing for it again.
Whether you do or not, will you(or can I) post these , or a link to these on TAT. x.

I don’t know that I’ll ever come back to writing for TAT as strongly as I once did, it’s been so long since I’ve watched enough of the show to be sure and happy with my characterisations. I have so many fandoms now and uni goes back soon, taking with it most of my play time but I do plan to post all of these on their respective communities.

Date: 2010-01-24 07:56 am (UTC)Mega looked their newest recruit over. They picked the boy up on the road as he walking alongside the convoy. He was just walking, head down, his eyes on the road, ignoring the jibs of the other Technos. Most strays avoided them, or begged, hoping to score scraps from the clearly well supplied tribe. But not this one.
Sick of being ignored, one of the Technos – a thug Mega knew as Tank jumped down from the truck, pushing the boy to get his attention. The boy let himself get shoved, not raising his head till Tank knocked him down.
“What’s your problem Stray?” Tank demanded, kicking at the boy’s side. “You deaf or something?”
“Stand down.” Mega growled, his voice pitched low and commanding.
The thug backed off, all too aware of the Techno lieutenant power and influence. It would be very easy for Mega to make his life difficult.
“Are you hurt?” Mega asked, holding a hand out to help the boy to his feet.
The boy ignored both Mega’s hand and his words, getting to his feet and dusting himself off before hefting his bag and walking on.
“Did you not hear me?” Mega demanded, eliciting no response at all.
Finally he rounded on the boy, pressing his long fingers under the youth’s chin, forcing him to look up before moving his hands, jerky with lack of practice. Do you sign?
Yes. The boy signed in return.
“Do you lip read?” Mega both signed and asked.
“Some.” The boy croaked, his voice broken and thick.
“How are you with computers?” Mega asked, making sure to enunciate clearly.
The boy grinned and shrugged, a little modestly but with a measure of pride. Pretty good but I could learn.
Mega looked him over once more, taking in the lines of the boy’s slight body. “Then I think we have something to learn from each other.”

I think Paul would be streetwise and his mischief with age could have made him a scammer, and with Mega being a computer and technical whiz I do think that they have a lot to learn from each other.
