I’m glad you enjoyed it. I was watching the film with friends and couldn’t get them to see the pairing so I had to write it just to prove the point. I’m glad I’m not alone in feeling that there’s so much more going on between them, a deeper understanding than there’s screen time to show.
I’m hoping to write a second stronger piece set at the end of the film but I think I need to see it again get the setting right. For me one of the most powerful moments of the film was the look on Raze’s face as he came over the wall and found Lucian naked and injured. His expression at that moment says so much about his feeling towards Lucian...
