“Yes Lord Ram.” “No Lord Ram.” Mega had steering the techno leader down to an art. Ram thought he had the power, he thought he was in control but Mega knew all the tricks for turning every conversation, every decision his way.
But when it came to dealing with Ram and his obsession with those hellcats he called his brides, Mega found he had to resort to more...extreme forms of persuasion.
On his knees before Ram’s wheelchair, his throat open as Ram panted, the techno leader’s hand threaded in his hair, Mega knew that with the slightest twist of his tongue he could steer Ram anywhere he wanted.
This was real power.
Shadow, Slade/Jack PG-13 for itsjustc
“So you’re the computer genius Lex’s been telling me about.”
Jack jumped as a tall boy stepped out of the shadows towards him. He already found Liberty creepy enough without some guy sneaking up on him. “Oh I...I wouldn’t say genius...well maybe I would but...” Jack stammered, trying to hide his surprise as Slade slunk towards him.
“He never mentioned you were cute too.” The older man’s gaze was predatorily as he gripped Jack’s chin, steering him away from Ram’s computers.
“I um...” Jack grimaced as his voice cracked, feeling the blush creep up his cheeks. “It’s not the sort of thing Lex’d see.”
“More fool him for not noticing.” Slade whispered, pushing Jack against the wall, running his thumbs up the youth’s neck to cradle his face. “I have to confess I have a thing for geeks.”
The kiss shouldn’t taken Jack by surprise but it did and he whimpered as Slade licked him way into the boy’s mouth.
His head spinning, Jack managed to push the older boy away a little. “Please...Don’t I...”
“Not into guys?” Slade teased, pushing his thigh between Jack’s knees. “Because your body is saying otherwise.”
“I...um...not really...not guys generally no...” Jack stuttered, blushing furiously as Slade stroked his though his jeans.
“So a guy specifically then.” Slade teased.
Jack ducked his head, refusing to meet Slade’s eye. “He’s not...it’s not like that...”
“You’ve never told him have you?” Slade purred, loving the way the younger boy squirmed. Distracting this repressed little virgin was easier that he thought. He bodily backed Jack out of the room, keeping him occupied as Ram snuck in to shift his hard-drives to where the little Mallrat geek wouldn’t find them.
“He’s dead.” Jack whimpered, his breath hitching as Slade pushed him backwards into another room.
“Hmm,” Slade growled, “Perhaps it’s time to move on.” A gentle nudge was enough to knock Jack onto the bed. As Slade pressed him into mattress, covering Jack’s body with his own, Jack wondered if Dal would understand.
History, Luke, G for itsjustc
Luke laid down his robes, shedding each piece one by one for the last time. He ran his hands over the blue and white fabric, feeling the world he’d known slip away from him.
The Chosen had been his life, his only family since losing the people who adopted him. As much as it hurt he knew it was right. He’d spoken his mind and told the truth, even if the Guardian couldn’t hear it.
He let a long sigh, pull the air from his lungs. The word of Zoot, of Power and Chaos had been basis of the new world, the path to bringing everything back.
But that was before...before the Mallrats, before the Guardian when truly mad.
He touched the fabric once more, tracing the shape of the collar before folding it up, stuffing it under the bed.
The Chosen was his life.
But that life was history now.
“Can you fix it?” Mega’s voice so close behind him was abrupt enough to make Jack jump.
“Yeah, yeah.” Jack replied, running his hand through his spiky hair, covering his distraction. “The problem’s not fixing it; it’s programming the system well enough that’ll keep working.” He gestured vaguely at the screen and its scrolling lines of text. “The program’s so complex that without regular maintenance, it’ll breakdown and fragment.”
Mega leant in, squinting at the text. “The system must be self-maintaining.”
Jack shrugged. “I don’t know how to make that happen.”
In one fluid strike, Mega dragged Jack out of the chair, pressing him against the wall, one hand tight around Jack’s throat. “That’s a command Jack.” Mega purred close to Jack’s ear, his voice dark and nasty. “And there are punishments for those who can’t obey commands.”
Jack shivered, half wondering what the punishment would be.
Learn, Paul/Mega, G for itsjustc
Mega looked their newest recruit over. They picked the boy up on the road as he walking alongside the convoy. He was just walking, head down, his eyes on the road, ignoring the jibs of the other Technos. Most strays avoided them, or begged, hoping to score scraps from the clearly well supplied tribe. But not this one.
Sick of being ignored, one of the Technos – a thug Mega knew as Tank jumped down from the truck, pushing the boy to get his attention. The boy let himself get shoved, not raising his head till Tank knocked him down.
“What’s your problem Stray?” Tank demanded, kicking at the boy’s side. “You deaf or something?”
“Stand down.” Mega growled, his voice pitched low and commanding.
The thug backed off, all too aware of the Techno lieutenant power and influence. It would be very easy for Mega to make his life difficult.
“Are you hurt?” Mega asked, holding a hand out to help the boy to his feet.
The boy ignored both Mega’s hand and his words, getting to his feet and dusting himself off before hefting his bag and walking on.
“Did you not hear me?” Mega demanded, eliciting no response at all.
Finally he rounded on the boy, pressing his long fingers under the youth’s chin, forcing him to look up before moving his hands, jerky with lack of practice. Do you sign?
Yes. The boy signed in return.
“Do you lip read?” Mega both signed and asked.
“Some.” The boy croaked, his voice broken and thick.
“How are you with computers?” Mega asked, making sure to enunciate clearly.
The boy grinned and shrugged, a little modestly but with a measure of pride. Pretty good but I could learn.
Mega looked him over once more, taking in the lines of the boy’s slight body. “Then I think we have something to learn from each other.”
